We’re looking for an outstanding Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Sosco Paving & Grading’ crews based at our shop in Tracy, CA. These crews are primarily dispatched to job sites in throughout San Francisco Bay Area. This is a full-time position.
Job Duties
- Leading crews in a manner that ensures they are acting in alignment with company policies and vision.
- Ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of work performed.
- Ensuring Sosco projects meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Overseeing the purchase, maintenance and dispatch of equipment.
- Monitoring/managing operational costs.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must.
- Creative problem solving, decisiveness, and leadership skills expected.
- Must demonstrate the ability to rally a team and motivate them to accomplish difficult tasks.
- Working knowledge of FieldAware a plus.
- Experience in the asphalt, paving, and concrete industries are also a plus, but not required.
Required License or Certification
- Commercial driver’s license (CDL) required.
